Homemade Hummus

Ingredients:

4 garlic cloves
2 cups canned chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid)
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup tahini (sesame paste, can be found in most large grocery stores)
6 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
2 tablespoons chickpea liquid
1/3 cup of olive oil



Directions:                          

Place all ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth. Season to taste. Serve cold or at room temperature.
